This outstanding vintage squash blossom necklace is dated 1961. The double-strand of desert pearls features twelve colorful cluster squash blossoms, each containing eight snake eye and two petit point turquoise cabochons set in tiny serrated bezels and accented with sterling silver drops, twist wire, and repousse details. The silver naja contains 14 snake eye and 28 petit point cabochons and is adorned with a decorative openwork olla featuring nine petit point stones and one snake eye at the center.Â
It’s a vibrant statement piece. Wear it with jeans and a tee or dress it up for the office – a classic squash blossom necklace is always in style.
